Sooooo.... yeah. Equestria Daily, one of the major pony fansites, is having a holiday banner contest, so I thought I'd sort of whip one up. Anyway, hope you think it's cute, blah blah blah. ^^;

Edit: They have indeed used it! I'm soooo pleased they did~! It may not qualify for the contest, but it got used, and that's all I really wanted. ^^

Edit #2: Wow! Thanks to everyone who voted for this in the contest-- I didn't even know it qualified, much less that enough people liked it for it to make it into the top five at ED! ^^ This is probably the most success I've had at an art contest on a major site, so thank you so much everyone! :D

Must say that this is a brilliant banner. Not only does it make great use of Luna who looks so great with that round sleek appearance, but everything pushes your focus from left to right. The letters could be a bit more visible though, but it is not unreadable.

Nice banner, though it looks like it would have gone much better with the darker color scheme from the first day of the competition. Is that what you had originally planned for?

It probably would, but I don't really have control over that. ^^; I actually made it within a day or two of when the contest was announced, so I really didn't know if they would change backgrounds or not. Ah well, I'm just happy they used it in the first place, and I'm glad you like it too. :3
