Well I do believe this is finished at last! I took several people's feedback into effect, so thanks to everyone who helped me on this one! Further tips are appreciated, but as this is a commission that will be printed out for someone's home I may not be able to use it for the final print. ^^;

This is my first large digital piece, I believe and for as much trouble as it gave me overall I'm happy with the end result and will probably be doing many more in this way. In the future hopefully I'll get away from using lineart, but for now it's the style I'm most comfortable with.

I hope you like it! ^^

I can toootally imagine this scene happening:

Oviraptor: You call me an egg thief, then steal MY eggs! Hypocrite much?

Velociraptor: Well at least I have more than one tooth! Oh and incidentally, tail flares went out of style back in the Turonian.

Oviraptor: Why don't you go back to scuffling with protoceratops? It's all you ever seem to do.

Velociraptor: He started it! He said these feathers make me look fat! What does he know, the little ceratopsian wannabe...

Oviraptor: Ceratopsian wannabe? You can talk! You're not exactly huge for a dromeosaur, to be honest.

Velociraptor: Is that so? 'To be honest', I don't give a coprolite.

Etc, etc....

And that's the reason for this scuffle.

Yes, I anthropomorphised the dinosaurs. Don't judge me.

I love how beautiful the colours are!
I can only guess that Dinosaur Planet was an inspiration for this, but I could be sooo wrong xD
I also love the shapes in the shadows 8D

This was actually a commission for a young boy; one of his favorites was velociraptor, so that's what I drew! The only inspiration came from birds for the colors-- a hooded crow for the raptor, and a cassowary for the oviraptor. ^^

Regardless, I'm really glad you like it! :D
