Seren's PokeVenture Round 1 Suffering. As legend had it, she brought it upon the land, the summoner of cataclysm, Death's scythe adorning her head. The thick white fur that covered her was perhaps the inspiration for some culture's association of white with death. And she found it fitting that her own name should match so perfectly with the original meaning of disaster-- literally, "bad star". Seren was fully aware of the Absol legacy, and also how human-centric it was. She knew it was the opposite of the truth. It was an Absol who often suffered when humans drove them away, sometimes injuring or killing them, and again as they watched the consequences of their war

I get the feeling you were inspired by a certain semi-aquatic mammal for the Triceratops' color scheme. The Styracosaurus gets my vote, though. You did an excellent job on all three of them!

Heh, I suppose you're close, but it was actually elephants behind the Trike's colors-- some have that dappling texture and pinkish tone. The Chasmo was similarly inspired by baby crocodiles, but Stryac had no real inspiration behind it. Anyway, glad you like it! ^^

Ah, elephants. When I saw the pink dappling I immediately thought hippo, so we've concluded that they and elephants have quite similar color schemes!
